Try the brand new trend of ‘hot yoga’ in The Yoga Shed’s specially designed studio. Doing yoga in a heated room helps to enhance metabolism and burns more calories. So this is a great way to kick start your new year fitness plan.
Hertfordshire Health Walks
This year’s calendar for Hertfordshire Health Walks has been released and the first walk starts today, 1st January at 10:30am with a 2.5 brisk walk (meeting at the former Whindmill Pub in Charlton). Other walking dates are available across January, February, March and April in Hitchin and the surrounding area.
Latin and Ballroom Dancing (Mirrors Dance)
Ballroom dancing is a fantastic way to keep fit whilst learning to dance. Mirrors Dance offer private lessons, beginner’s introductory classes, as well as more advanced lessons at The Sun Hotel in Hitchin (as well as many other locations in Herts). They will be in Hitchin every Monday.
Meditation and Pranayama at Yoga Mind Space
The latest trend in fitness is mindfulness workouts, a great way to enhance your mind, body and soul. Meditation and Pranayama are designed to help with your breathing and circulation, whilst also tackling stress and providing cardiovascular benefits. Beginners are welcome.
